Delivery Coverage
We deliver diesel generators to all states and territories across Australia, including regional and remote areas. Delivery timeframes and freight costs may vary depending on your location.
Order Processing & Dispatch
Orders are processed and prepared for dispatch within 1–3 business days of payment being received and confirmed. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
Orders placed on weekends or Australian public holidays will be processed on the next available business day.
Estimated Delivery Timeframes
The following timeframes apply from the date of dispatch:
- Metro areas (capital cities): 2–5 business days
- Regional areas: 5–10 business days
- Remote and rural locations: 10–20 business days (or as advised at checkout)
These are estimates only. Generators Avenue is not responsible for delays caused by freight carriers, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or other circumstances outside our control.
Freight & Handling
Diesel generators are heavy, oversized items and are transported via road freight, typically on pallets. All units are professionally packaged to minimise the risk of damage in transit.
Shipping Costs
Free shipping is available on orders over $500,000. Orders below this amount will have freight calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the weight and dimensions of the unit selected.
Delivery Access Requirements
Please ensure your delivery address has suitable access for a freight vehicle (including trucks and semi-trailers). Standard delivery is kerbside only — the driver will unload to the nearest accessible point at the delivery address.
If your site requires a tail-lift service, crane-assisted unloading, or delivery into a building or facility, please contact us before placing your order as additional charges may apply and must be arranged in advance.
Tracking Your Order
Once your generator is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to monitor your delivery directly through the freight carrier’s website or tracking portal.
If you have not received a tracking email within 5 business days of placing your order, please contact us at info@generatorsavenue.com.au.
Delivery Issues — Damaged or Missing Items
Please inspect your generator carefully at the time of delivery. If you notice any of the following, do not sign off on the delivery as complete:
- Visible damage to the packaging or the unit itself
- Missing components or accessories that should be included
- Any discrepancy between what was delivered and what was ordered
In these cases, please note the issue on the delivery docket and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@generatorsavenue.com.au with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs of any damage
Failure to report damage within 48 hours may affect our ability to lodge a claim with the freight carrier on your behalf.
Incorrect Delivery Address
Please ensure your delivery address is correct at the time of ordering. If a delivery fails or is returned to us due to an incorrect or inaccessible address provided by the customer, re-delivery fees will apply.
International Shipping
At this time, Generators Avenue ships within Australia only. We do not currently offer international delivery.
